Obituary of Janice M. Gordon

Janice M. (Ruzzo) Gordon, 72, of Lakewood, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Van Dyke Hospice Center, Toms River. Born in Lakewood, Janice lived in Lakehurst and Toms River before moving to Lakewood. Her husband John S. died in 1973. They were the owners of Gordon&#39;s Auto Body in Toms River. She later worked at Sears in the Ocean County Mall until her retirement. Two sons, John M. of Howell and Craig of Point Pleasant and three grandchildren, Matthew, Allison and Stephanie survive Janice. A brother, William Salmons of Little Egg Harbor, and a sister Morgan Ruzzo of San Francisco also survive her. A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 8 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. Toms River. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
