Obituary of Elsie P. Bodenschatz

Elsie P. Bodenschatz, 92 of Toms River passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at her home. Elsie was born on Staten Island and lived there until moving to Toms River in 1994. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in 1992. Elsie is survived by her children, Joseph Bodenschatz of Manasquan; Elsie DePasquale of Toms River; grandchildren, Sherri Small of Toms River, Eric Bodenschatz of S. Plainfield, NJ, Scot Bodenschatz of Washington, NJ, Barbara Pelki of Yardville, NJ, Dane Small of Arizona; four great grandchildren, Sahra Small of Erial, NJ, Allison Pelki, of Yardville, NJ, Joseph and Gus Bodenschatz of Washington, NJ; a sister, Roberta Matsen of Staten Island, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home followed by interment at the Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island.
