Obituary of Patricia Ann Schreiner

Patricia Ann Schreiner (nee Damm), 63, of Toms River passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. A township resident for the past 8 years, she was born in Irvington, and raised in Edison. Patti started her family in Edison before moving to Lacey Township. She spent the last 6 years as Payroll Manager for K. Hovnanian Homes in Red Bank, and was very highly regarded by all. Patti brightened the lives of everyone she touched, and was known not only for her strength, compassion and caring but also for her smile. She will be remembered as a wonderful, loving wife and an inspiring mother and role model for her girls, as well as mothers and daughters everywhere. Patti is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronald; her three daughters, Traci and her husband Mark Lillo of Paramus, Cindi and her husband Jeff Smith of Howell, and Melissa and her husband Robert Mercado of Howell. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Maximillian, Sophia, Parker, Kaitlyn, and Ashley, as well as her brother Raymond and his wife Carol, of Dryden, NY, and her brother-in-law Robert Blackton of Boyertown, PA. Patti is predeceased by her sister, Carole Blackton. Memorial services will be held at Kedz Funeral Home 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 5 PM �&quot; 8 PM.
