Anthony Grillo, 63 of Manchester passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at home. Anthony worked as an insurance underwriter for Famers Insurance in California. While serving in the US Army, he was in the Military Police stationed in Germany. While there, he also taught 2nd grade at the base school. Anthony was born and raised in Newark, NJ, and lived in Palm Springs, CA, moving to Manchester Twp. 11 years ago.
He is survived by his sister, Victoria Mancuso and her husband Ken of Manchester; 3 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday, April 27 at St. John's Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for ataxia research may be made to the Robert and John M. Bendheim Parkinson and Movement Disorders Center, care of the Mount Sinai Development Office, One Gustave L. Levy Place, Box 1049-1050, New York, NY 10029. Kedz Funeral Home, Toms River is in charge of arrangements.
