Obituary of Valeria Jadelis

Valeria "Viola" Jadelis, 88 of Berkeley Twp., passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. Viola worked for the Prudential Insurance Company for 26 years, retiring in 1982 and was a member of the Prudential Retirement Club. She was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church and was a member of the American-Lithuanian Club of Whiting . Born and raised in Newark, she lived in Union before moving to Berkeley Twp. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1978, her brother John Rosent, her sisters Helen Lennon and Ida Morris, and her dear close friend of 27 years, Peter Klikier. She is survived by her son George Jadelis and his wife Lois of Delaware, her daughter Darlene Storer and her husband Paul of Virginia; 5 granddaughters, Kristen, Valerie, Lauren, Allison and Susan; 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 29 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:30 am Monday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association of NJ, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083 in her name would be appreciated.
