Obituary of Carmela Christopher

Carmela G. Christopher, 70 of Whiting, formerly of Maplewood, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Carmela worked for the Prudential Insurance Co. of Newark as a secretary in the legal department retiring in 1992. She was born in Newark and lived in Maplewood for many years, moving to Whiting in 200. Carmela is survived by her beloved husband Theodokis; her children, Deborah Langone, Christopher Christopher and Maria Torre; two sisters, Maria Polignano, Antoinette Rubano; and her cherished grandchildren, Jessica and PJ Langone, Carlos Gonzales, Nicholas Torre. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River.
