Obituary of Joseph Pijak

Joseph "Guy" Pijak, 62, of Toms River passed away peacefully on the morning of Sept. 4, 2009 at his home after a struggle with cancer.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, Guy was a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore. He graduated Toms River High School in 1964 and Rider College in 1968. Guy was building contractor in the Toms River area and an avid outdoorsman. He could never be found far away from his fishing pole on the Jersey Shore . Guy was predeceased by his father, Walter, and survived by his mother, Irene, his five sisters, one brother, his companion Fran, and his three loving children Jeremy, Justin and Jessica.
A memorial service will be held on October 3, 2009 at 0930 at the LDS Church 1348 Old Freehold Rd. in Toms River .
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to research that was very near and dear to his heart at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, New Jersey Metro Chapter, 1 Kalisa Way, Suite 205 , Paramus , NJ 07652 . Kedz Funeral Home, Toms River is in charge of arrangements
