Catherine A. Yuengling, 86, of Bayville passed away Thursday, July 05, 2012. Catherine worked for the Perlmart Shop Rite Co. as office manager for 35 years, retiring in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Catholic Church of Bayville where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Berkeley Seniors. Born and raised in Newark, she lived in Island Heights for 15 years, moving to Bayville 40 years ago. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert in 1978.
Catherine in survived by three sons, Robert and his wife Christine of Weston, VT, Ronald and his wife Amalia of Brick, NJ, Fred of Portland OR; her daughter Patricia Gausman and her husband William of Lompoc, CA; six grandchildren, Robert, Judy, Mark, Kurt, William and Grace; and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Friends are invited to join the family at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville, NJ on Wednesday at 9:30am to celebrate the funeral liturgy.
In lieu of flowers donations in Catherine's memory to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 833 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 would be appreciated.
