Obituary of Shirley Mae Fernandez

Shirley Mae Flint Fernandez, 59 of Brick, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012. Shirley was a health aide for The ARC, Ocean County Chapter for many years. She was born and raised in Jersey City, moving to Brick 22 years ago. She was predeceased by her father Douglas Flint and a brother, James P. Burke, Jr. Surviving are her four children, Michael Fernandez, Jayne Bowen, Stephanie Maroldi, Christina Fernandez; her mother, Shirley Burke; two brothers, Edward and Douglas Flint; her sister, Teresa Flint Fantozzi; her grandson, Armani Crippen; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm with a funeral service Friday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
