Obituary of Margaret E. Herman

Peggy (Margaret) Herman, 72 of Toms River, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012. She was a registered nurse and worked at Community Medical Center for 20 years, retiring in 1997. Peggy enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Beach Plum Quilters of the Jersey Shore. Born and raised in Ashland, PA, she moved to Toms River in 1977. She was predeceased by her loving son Shawn P. Herman in 2008 and her beloved husband John B. Herman in 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Erin K. Herman of Toms River; sister Maureen Wilk and her husband Richard of Hillsborough, NJ; nephews Brandon, Jacob, Ryan and niece Lindsay. She is also survived. by her aunt, Peggy Susky of Philadelphia, cousin Chris Sauers and husband Bob and son Michael of Stratford, NJ; Niece Tabitha Stadler of Naples Fl; her husband Stephen and son Wolfie A memorial gathering will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with a prayer service being offered at 1:30.
