Obituary of Roberta Horowitz

Roberta "Bobbie" L. Horowitz, 64 of Trenton, NJ passed away Wednesday, January 02, 2013. Born in Neptune, she grew up in Bradley Beach and graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1965 after which she went to medical secretarial school in Boston. After graduating in 1967 she worked as an office manager for a medical practice in West Long Branch for 7 years and for a medical practice in Highland Park for 17 years. At the time of her death she was newly retired from the state of new jersey as a medical review analyst. She became involved with political issues and was president of Hands Across New Jersey. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Minna Finkelstein and her sister Sandra Gray. She is survived by her sister, Renee Morris; nieces and nephews, Amy Guerra, David Morris, Miriam Morris, Theresa Badilla and her husband George, Harry Gray, Dennis Gray and his wife Rosie, Walter Gray; grand nieces and nephews, Brandon and Gregory Badilla, Dustin and Julia Gray, Elisha VanOrden, Abigail Gray and Victoria Gray. She is also survived by her dog Taffy. A time of gathering will be held Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River followed by a 12:45pm graveside service at Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
