Obituary of Joyce E. Tucsnak

Joyce Elizabeth Tucsnak, 83 of Whiting, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Residing in New Jersey her entire life, she was born in Plainfield and graduated from Cranford High School. She lived in Cranford, Howell Township, and Turnersville before moving to Whiting. Joyce was a loving sister, born the second youngest of eight siblings. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Ellen Thall; her husband Alvin Tucsnak; her siblings, Howard, Ray, Frank, and Charlotte Thall Anthes; and her granddaughter Samantha Tucsnak. Joyce was a devoted and affectionate wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Joyce is survived by three sons, Matthew and his wife Caroline of Toms River, NJ, Mark and his wife Melanie of Pahrump, NV, and Wayne and his wife Annmarie of Leola, PA; three grandchildren, Sierra Tucsnak, Samuel Tucsnak, and Luke Tucsnak; great granddaughter, Luna Tucsnak; two sisters, Eleanor Biank and Beatrice Roberts; brother John Thall; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was an operator with Bell Telephone before retiring. Joyce had a passion for gardening in her yards and enjoyed attending the Philadelphia Flower Show. Joyce also had a love for animals and enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, listening to music, and playing the piano. Joyce left her family and friends with the gift of so many memories filled with faith, love, smiles, kindness, and laughter. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.
