Obituary of Theodora Priestly

Theodora Priestly “Teddy,” entered her eternal life peacefully. Born in Passaic, NJ she lived in Clifton, moved to Bloomingdale for 15 years before settling in Brick. She was retired from Drakes Bakery of Wayne, NJ. Mama “Ma” to most, loved her family and friends. Her door was always open. She always saw good in all people. She was not just our Mama she was everyone’s. She loved going to Atlantic City. She spent a lot of her beautiful days in the casino. She loved the beach, loved having pizza on the boardwalk or a sausage, pepper, and onion sandwich with her drinks, and people watching with her dearest friend Debbie, and always catching a conversation with whom ever sat around her. She loved going to Great Adventure with her great grandchildren to watch them have fun or go to Hurricane Harbor to catch up on her tan. She is survived by her daughter, Theodora and Steven of Jackson; her daughter by heart, Barbara and John of Bricktown; her grandchildren, Alyson and Arthur of Jackson, Phillip of Jackson, Pamela and Travis of Browns Mills, Michael and Morgan of Freehold; Demitria and Odarius of Jackson; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Dominique, Johnny, Michael, Dean, Bella, Annie, Shane, Stephanie, Jayden, Aubrey, Michael, Avery, Randy, Oryah, and one on the way; two nieces, Alyson and Victora, and her dearest friend Roberta. A memorial service will be held in the Summer of 2023. Details will follow after the holidays.
