Aunt Marie was the sister of my husband Ted's father Theodore. Theodore died at the age of 19 leaving behind his wife Patricia and sons Ted, Patrick and Brian. Aunt Marie and Delores stayed in touch with my mother-in-law through phone calls and they always sent cards on special occasions. She held a very special place in all their hearts.
It takes a very special person to extend themselves to others and she had so many people that she loved and did this for. I finally got to meet this woman they spoke so highly of at Pascal and Joanne's wedding here in Toronto. She was classy, genuine, radiant, loving, kind and compassionate. She was special!
Thank you Aunt Marie for all the love and care you showed your brother's family and I am sure Theodore, Patricia and half of heaven were there to thank you and welcome you home. May God Bless you always and forever sweet soul.
To Delores, Pascal & Joanne may God Bless you and care for you as you grieve your beloved Aunt Marie. Love Pat Ferreira

Aunt Marie, you will forever be missed! Our Aunt was a woman who had smiles to brighten your days. Talking with you was always a treat, you’re a special Aunt who can’t be beat. Your love and kindness can’t be overlooked. You shared so many good times with the whole family. You were not only a big sister to my mother, but you were also her best friend. Those special memories of you will always bring a smile to our faces. The fact that you’re no longer here is really sad but you’re forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
We know those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and so very dear to us all! We love you so much Aunt Marie! <3

Grandma Marie will be so missed. We will always remember how much love she had for everyone. She had a real gift for always staying in touch and wanted to know how you were doing. She made her home a welcoming place and I will never forget the times we stayed with Grandma in New Jersey.

We met the much beloved 'Aunt Marie' only a couple of times at the home of our Auntie Elaine and the memory of her as a vibrant, loving and fun lady remained with us. Without a doubt she has joined all those that love her and heaven is a happier place today. Dolores, Pascal, Joanne, Simone, Tracy and family, you have given much love and joy to your Aunt and she is certainly smiling down on each of you with gratitude.

Marie was a loving and caring person. I enjoyed our long conversations talking about the "old" days and about our parents. She had a wealth of information.
If Marie knew of your doctor's appointment or test you can be sure she would be calling to find out if everything was Okay. That was the type of person she was. She thought of everyone.
The De France's, Serrao, and Ferreira families must be rejoicing and welcoming her with open arms. I can see Franco on his guitar and everyone in a sing-a-long just like the good "old" days.
Winston and my family joins me in extending our deepest condolences to Dolores, Patricia, Paschal and Joanne and the other cousins.
Rest in Peace Marie. Eternal Rest grant unto her O Lord and let Perpetual Light shine upon her May She Rest in Peace. Amen

Always enjoyed my trips to New Jersey as a kid to visit Aunt Marie. She was so full of love and light! Breakfast in the sunroom. Playing in the attic. Outdoor fun in the garden. Church on the weekend. She was one of the few people who called me ‘Tina’ as a term of endearment. Wonderful memories I will keep in my heart forever. She will be so missed! Christina and family. XO

Aunt Marie you have always been special to myself and Family. I have such beautiful memores of the strong, loving and caring person that you were. You were my Mom's best friend and always made it a point to check on her. You reminded me so much of my Mom and it was always a comfort to talk to you when she left this earth. I know the two of you will be catching up on everything. Your strength was an inspiration to so many and your kindness will be remembered by us all. Aunt Marie you have touched so many lives and will always live on in our hearts. You will be greatly missed. Love

Aunt Marie was a mother to her four nephews Norbert, Paschal, Stanley and Jerome and her three nieces Dolores, Jean and, myself who was named after her. She was the also the mother of Patricia. She loved us all unconditionally and always made sure that we were taken care of during our childhood and long after. Aunt Marie cared for all her family, and although we were miles apart, gown up and with our own family, she always made sure that she knew where we were and how we were doing. She cared with every ounce of her being for each and every one of us. A love that knew no boundaries. She would always call me on my birthday, at Christmas and Easter just to hear how I was doing., and even when she became ill, she would still make an effort to talk to me when Dolores called , to make sure I was OK and ask how my kids and grand kids were doing. I will miss you Aunt Marie and I will forever cherish the beautiful memories I have of you. I will hold you close to my ❤️ until.........
