Obituary of Genevieve M. Reichstetter

Genevieve M. Reichstetter, age 91 of Toms River passed from this life on Friday, August 9, at home. While being in good health she passed peacefully while sleeping to be with her beloved sweetie, Fred. Genevieve was born to Lawrence and Antoinette Petren in Irvington, NJ. She married her sweetie whom she met at a dance while starring down his ex-girlfriend. She and Fred celebrated their 70th anniversary last year. She had a variety of jobs, spending the longest time at Longo Electrical-Mechanical Inc. She started with them when they were a small company and helped them grow to the largest such company in the northeast. She had a passion for playing the organ which she started late in life and continued to practice and play for many years. She was always looking for the positive in every situation and accepted life as it came maintaining a cheery outlook in the face of adversity. Genevieve is survived by her son Fred and his wife Anne of Florida; sister in law Lucille Petren and many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held in the near future.
