Joanne Lightbody - Duffy of Toms River, NJ, born, May 25, 1962, age, 61, passed away suddenly on, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Joanne was born and raised in Toms River, NJ. Joanne graduated in 1981, with the first graduating class of Toms River High School East. Although Joanne had many jobs in the customer service industry, her favorite job was being a wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. Joanne was Truly Devoted to her family and will be sorely missed. Joanne is a former member of the East Dover Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary in support of her husband Wayne, her son Patrick, Father, and Brother. Joanne is predeceased by her husband, Wayne J. Duffy, and her mother, Patricia Lightbody. She is survived by her Daughters, Janelle Duffy, Jacqueline Duffy-Faranda, and husband, Philip; Son, Patrick Duffy, and girlfriend Jamie; 5 Grandchildren, Giovanni, Peyton, Phillip, Parker, Chase, and Dominick; Her Father, John F. Lightbody, and his wife Carole; Sister, Patty Gillich, and her husband Chris; Twin Brother, John H. Lightbody, and his wife Linda, and Sister Dawn Lightbody; Brother-In-Law, William Duffy; Sister In-Laws, Dee, and Allison Duffy, and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.
