Obituary of Edward J. Bisceglie

Edward J. Bisceglie, 63 of Whiting passed away suddenly after complications of diabetes on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Community Medical Center. Eddie was born and raised in Queens, NY and graduated from Bryant High School. He moved to Bayville in 1998 and later settled in Whiting, NJ. Eddie formerly worked for the Toms River Municipal Utilities Authority as a line maintenance worker. He was a lifelong fan of the Jets and Mets which he always said J E T S stood for (Just end the season) and M E T S stood for (My entire team sucks). He loved playing golf in his free time and going to Monmouth Racetrack to bet the ponies. Eddie had an old school class about him, tough guy that would hug you, kiss you on the cheek, and tell you he loved you. He was a man that greatly impacted many by helping families struggling with loved ones who suffered from drug addiction and alcoholism. No matter what time of the day, Eddie would pick up the phone and offer his experience and help, and in doing so he saved many lives and positively impacted so many people along the way. He had a great sense of humor and all that knew him loved him. He is predeceased by his parents, Ralph Bisceglie and Vivian Conry. Edward is survived by his daughter, Nicole Bellotti; son, Thomas Bellotti; his granddaughter, Madison who was his pride and joy; brothers, Danny Bisceglie and his wife Vincenza, David Bisceglie and his wife Carly and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 4 - 7 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.
