I know Andrea would be smiling to know that Bill still has the police jacket she gave him, and it is his dream to become a police officer.
May your shared memories bring a smile and lessen your tears during this very difficult time.
Much love,
Debbie

What can I say about my forever friend Andrea? The only word I have is NO! No way has she left us so soon; no way is this OK. I’ve known Andrea since forever, since kindergarten through high school- birthday parties in her yard or in my basement. Crazy Halloween‘s with April as Topo Gigio, Andrea is an Indian, and me as My Favorite Martian in a spray painted swim cap. On the HFS basketball team, playing opposite our moms and the nuns thinking we were going straight to hell for knocking sister Conrad’s wimple off; we were together, Lino, Tino and Ozio, the three A’s, or whatever famous basketball players we named ourselves after, Andrea of course was Pistol Pete Maravich! Who else would I stay with for the 15th HFS reunion just days after my wedding, but Andrea, we may have lost touch for a while but when we reconnected it was as if no time has passed at all. Again I say NO just WTH? NO, Andrea I will ALWAYS miss you, LOVE you, and keep your happy crazy spirit in my heart forever or in proper Brooklyn, “Foreva!” Love ya kid! Special prayers and love to the entire Sorrentino family and friends, much love, Anne

Andrea was a kind, thoughtful and loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. The love and patience she displayed towards her son, Andrew, was a testament to the phenomenal and amazing mother/person she was. We are all heart broken with her passing but are certain that she will remain in the hearts of everyone whose lives she had touched and nurtured.
My family and I will always remember the warm embrace and cheerful smile Andrea greeted us with during all the gatherings at Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthday celebrations. The song she played for us on her guitar was amazing at our last gathering. We are certain that those beautiful tunes and all the loving memories we have of her will forever be in our hearts.
Andrea, you will be forever missed.
Until we meet again…..
Love,
Tim, Eliza, Tori & Connor

Time passes us by without knowing what tomorrow will bring. You left us too early in your life, but memories of you will live on in our hearts. I always looked forward to seeing you at our friends get togethers. You were so easy to talk to and laugh with. I remember singing along with you as you played your guitar. Keep the music going in heaven my friend. Rest in peace.

I felt so blessed to be able to reconnect with Andrea this last decade or more. She remained as I remembered her from our years growing up together. Bright, kind, compassionate, filled with grace and humor — a bright light. The world will surely be dimmer without her, yet the heavens brighter. I loved our shared jokes and texts over these last years. They always made me smile. My heartbreaks for Andy and Sue and I pray that Andrea’s memory will provide some comfort. Surely they have the fiercest of guardian angles now. Rest peacefully dear Andrea. Till we meet again, sweet friend.

If you’re fortunate enough, there are people you come to know that are extraordinary. You may briefly encounter them in a chapter, or a phase in life. You may even hold onto them, if life allows. I connected with Andrea later on, only she was my cousin. A woman I heard stories about. It was as if she was a super heroine. I would later learn from her that the legends were not only factual, she exceeded all expectations of cool. We had an instant bond at first sight. I always thought had she not been my cousin, I would have sought her out, or she, me - having been a former detective. Years and years of family gatherings and holidays, and hilarious outings raced by in a flash. Now all memories I’m desperately hanging on to. An undefinable something that would lead us to today, where I, we, are left heartbroken, lost, and confused because this near perfect person was called away.
You were courageous every day. And you were exceedingly good. And a loyal friend I looked up to and so admired. I will miss you dearly, Andrea.
All our love to Andy and Sue.

I never dreamed in a million years that you and we would not grow old together. We were in every class together since kindergarten. We spent time with our parents together in the Poconos. Our parents shared wonderful memories of their time in Williamsburg Brooklyn. You and I spent countless nights laughing...talking and even arguing. I loved that you loved your son to the moon and beyond. I loved that you loved our HFS girls circle with all of your heart. As you watch us all from above, playing Hey Jude to everyone who will listen....know that here I am broken hearted and will miss you until we meet again. All my love Donna and Robert
