John Clark, 90 of Seaside Park, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013. '..And in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me.' John was a salesman for Dorchester, Inc. of Princeton from many years. He was known by all those who knew him as a good man. He was an honorable husband and loving father. John served as a Gunners mate in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He had a real sharp mind, being an avid reader. As he grew older and could no longer enjoy the pleasures of the ocean side, he loved doing crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. He was born and raised in Trenton, NJ then lived in Roebling, NJ. He and his wife summered in Seaside Park from 1969 until moving there permanently in 1979. John was predeceased by his dearly beloved wife of 67 years, Mary Chaperak Clark in 2012.
John is survived by his son Jonathan Clark of South Seaside Park; daughter, Barbara Merritt and her husband Winthrop of Yardley, PA; two granddaughters, April Merritt Monte and her husband Thomas, Kimberly Merritt and her husband Eric Miller; and a great grandson, Hunter Monte.
