Obituary of Margaret McNeil

Margaret Joyce McNeil, 82 passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 in Knoxville, TN. Margaret was in fellowship at the Fifth Avenue Chapel in Belmar, NJ. She was born in Point Pleasant, NJ and lived in Monmouth County before moving to Tennessee in August of 2012. She was predeceased by her husband Robert S. McNeil in 1990. Surviving are her daughter, Patricia McNeil of Berwyn, PA; two sons, David McNeil and his wife Krista of Knoxville, TN, Donald McNeil and his wife Amy of Matawan, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Emma, Lydia, Jordan, Katryna, Allyson; 3 brothers, Robert Risden and his wife Mary, Edward Risden and his wife Marilyn, and Gerald Risden and his wife Marilyn; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Fifth Avenue Chapel, Fifth Avenue and B Street, Belmar on Thursday, Jan. 2 from 3 to 5 pm. A funeral service will be offered 7:00 pm at the Chapel. Entombment will take place 11:00 am Friday at Monmouth Memorial Park, Route 33, Tinton Falls, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Melmark Charitable Foundation, Melmark-Pennsylvania, 2600 Wayland Road, Berwyn, PA 19312 in her memory. Kedz Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements.
