Obituary of Lois Kathryn Maluss

Lois Kathryn Elsey Maluss, 78, of Toms River, passed away, Friday, May 30, 2014. Lois worked as a Registered Nurse at Community Medical Center, Toms River, retiring in 1987, and worked at Wawa until 1997. Born in Passaic, NJ, she grew up in North Arlington where she graduated from N. Arlington High School. She received her nursing degree from Ocean County College. Lois was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mildred Elsey and a grandson, Samuel Fennell, Jr. Surviving are her beloved husband of 58 years, Stanley Maluss, Jr.; three daughters, Lois Yannick and her husband Raymond, Leslie Heaney, Linda Fennell and her husband Samuel; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Diane Vodola and her husband Rich; brother Fred Elsey and his wife Ruth; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Bambi. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday, June 7, from 5 to 8 pm with a funeral service at 7:30pm.
