Deepest sympathy to Gail and family and all the Gallagher family on Brendan's untimely passing. Brendan and I went to school and played football together over a five to six year period - he was a dear friend. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam. Seamus

My uncle was the kindest, gentlest person I have ever known. He'd like to embarrass me when I was younger and when I was being treated for a blood cancer, he didn't miss a week in ten long months of sending me a card to show he cared. That was the stand up guy he was. He was so loved and will be deeply missed.

Our sympathies to Brendan's family. So sorry to hear of his passing. Even though we did not see him often, except maybe at tax time, we considered him a friend. We enjoyed his stories of his son the poet, and the car dealer job.Such a nice man. He will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to Gail and family, so sorry to hear of Brendan's passing. We have fond memories of spending time with you in Beechwood, who could ever forget that warm infectious laugh, we enjoyed the Craic with you always and were delighted that you made the trip home in 2005 to celebrate our Wedding in Ireland. A great person who will be deeply missed by many.

Gail, I met Brendan in 1980 just after Maureen and I got married. He and I had taken a similar path and it was so reassuring for me to have him as a mentor, friend, and a fellow Irishman. He was a gift from God for me during those difficult years, as I made my way in the world outside of church. As the years went on Brendan, Gail, Maureen and Austin shared great times together at your pool, going to TR South football games when Brian was playing, cutting Christmas trees, chopping wood, fixing whatever was broken in our homes. And Brendan did it all with laughter and good humor. Wonderful, wonderful memories. To this day Brendan is Uncle Brendan to our children and a like a brother to me. I am forever grateful and thankful to God for the gift of my brother Brendan. By this time I am certain that he and Maureen are sharing a laugh, just like they used to do. Go ndeanfaidh Dia trochaire ar a anam!! Austin

Sincere condolences to Gail and the family. Brendan always had a smile and was kind and caring. He was an example of how we should all be. I will miss his laugh and jokes. I loved the trips to the auctions and antiques shows with my grandfather. Spending time with him was a pleasure for me. I will cherish those memories. May God bless him.
