Milton Douglas Bowen, Sr., 56, of Toms River, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his home with his loving and supportive family by his side. Milton was a carpenter by trade and worked in the Maryland area. He was born in Prince Fredrick, Maryland to Milton William Bowen and Myrtle Lee Coburn Bowen. He lived in Lexington Park before moving to Brielle in 2000. Milton was a loving husband, a caring dad, an amazing grandfather, and was known to his family and friends as a good man. He was predeceased by his father Milton William Bowen and a son Milton Douglas Bowen, Jr.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra Mills Bowen; his son, Billy Pasley; three daughters, Brittany Mills, Brandi Mills, Krista Mills; his mother Myrtle Lee Bowen; 11 grandchildren, Chance, Darien, Jayden, Jaelynn, Averianna, Kaleigh, Zaiden, Reese, Donte, Malik, Joey; his brother, Michael Bowen; 6 sisters, Loretta Shields, Cynthia Bowen, Rebecca Logan, Melody Bowen, Brenda Brown, Kimberly Bowen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday, February 7th from 5 to 7 pm.
