Obituary of Mary Baka

Mary Baka, 83 of Beachwood, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Mary worked as a clerk for the US Postal Service in Woodbridge for 29 years, before retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Brick Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Americus Chapter #137, Order of the Eastern Star of Woodbridge. Mary enjoyed bingo, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Born in Linden, she lived in Avenel before moving to Beachwood in 1993. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George Baka in 2008. Surviving are two daughters, Georgeanne Sult and her husband Jim of Parlin, NJ, Nancy Reiher of Toms River; four grandchildren, Lorraine, James, Andrew and Katie. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Tuesday, from 7 to 9 pm with a funeral service at 8:30pm. A committal service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at the Brig. Gen. William Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may gather at 9:30am at the funeral home.
