Obituary of Nicholina ‘Nicki’ Flynn

Nicholina ‘Nicki’ Flynn, 82 of Melbourne , Florida , formerly of Beachwood , NJ passed away Wednesday, Sept. 8. Nicki retired from NJ Bell Telephone Company where she worked as a telephone operator for many years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Association, and was a former communicant of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Born and raised in Newark she lived in Beachwood from 1972 until moving to Florida in 2004. She was predeceased by her beloved husband James F. Flynn in 1980. She is survived by her loving sisters, Mary Primost of Melbourne, FL; Theresa Pagano of Toms River; sister in law, Alice Soriano of Union, NJ; niece Kathleen Bogus and nephew Kevin Their; great nieces, Jessica and Jennifer Bogus all of Melbourne, Fl. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Thursday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 33 Woodland Ave. , Bayville. Arrive at the funeral at 9:30 am .
