Obituary of Agnes R. Lentz

Agnes R. Lentz, 80 of Toms River passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Agnes was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Island Heights, where she served as the church organist for 30 years, before retiring in 2005. She also worked as a home health aide for the Visiting Homemaker Service from 1971 to 1977. She was born in Newark and moved to Toms River in 1968. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George W. Lentz in 2004, her mother Jessie Nesmith Duncan in 1977, her father Alfred Duncan in 1981, and her mother and father in law George and Helen Lentz, and her brother in law Gary Lentz in 2001. Agnes is survived by her two sons, Craig and Eric Lentz of Toms River; sister and brother in law, Marion and Bob Williams of Ft. Meyers, FL. ; Brother in law and sister in law, pat and Leonard Lentz of Point Pleasant. Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate Agnes’ life with her family on Sunday, August 1st from 1 until the funeral service at 3:30 at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue , Toms River . In lieu of flowers, donations to the Popcorn Park Zoo, PO Box 43 , Forked River , NJ 08731 in her memory would be appreciated.
