Obituary of Archibald A. Lamb

Archibald A. Lamb, 87 of Holiday City , Berkeley Twp. died Friday, February 5 at his home. He worked as a Sr. Wireman for Western Electric in Kearny , where he met his wife Margaret, then worked at Bell Laboratories in Whippany for many years. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II in Normandy , Central Europe and Northern France . He was a communicant of St. Maximilian-Kolbe Catholic Church. Born in Newark , he lived in Denville, moving to Berkeley in 1993. He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Shanley Lamb. Surviving are two sons: Charles A. Lamb and his wife Roberta of Whiting, NJ Edward J. Lamb of Cathedral City , CA And many nieces, nephews and cousins. And dear friend Sam Leon Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Interment will be private.
