Obituary of Modesto T. Maulion

Modesto T. Maulion, Jr. MD, 54, passed away Thursday, December 03, 2009 . Dr. Maulion was a pediatrician and worked for Pediatrics Affiliates of Toms River before beginning his own practice in Lakewood 16 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Luke’s Catholic Church of Toms River and was a member of the BLD Prayer Group in Trenton . He was born in the Philippines and lived on Long Island , New York before moving to Toms River in 1993. He is survived by: His wife Marilou Maulion and two sons, Christopher and Patrick all of Toms River His mother, Simeona Maulion; sisters, Angeles Hernandez and her husband Miguel, Abella Sotelo and her husband Lito and Dolores Maulion; brother George Maulion and his wife Felicidad, all of Mineola , New York . Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:15 am Monday at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Old Freehold Road , Toms River . Arrive at the funeral home at 8 a.m. Final prayers will be said at St. Joseph ’s Cemetery, Toms River .
