Obituary of Gerard M. Aguirre

Gerard M. Aguirre, 55 of Lakewood NJ, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015. He worked as a receiver manager for 27 years at Saker Shop Rites. Gerard was born in Bronx, NY and lived in Asbury park before moving to Lakewood for 38 years. He was a graduate of Lakewood High School and later coached baseball for Lakewood township. He is survived by his mother Frances Pacheco; two sons, Jeremy and Zachary Aguirre; two daughters, Tiffany and Ashley Aguirre; two brothers James and Jeffrey Aguirre; two sisters Jean Aguirre and Emalisa Haller; and his former wife Barbara Aguirre; along with two grandchildren Robert and Elizabeth Stewart, also his companion, Kathleen Ruprecht; and son in law Joseph Celauro. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave, Toms River on Saturday, April 25, from 12 to 2 and 4 to 6 pm, with a prayer service at 5:30pm. Cremation will be private.
