Obituary of Eugene Petersen

Eugene Petersen, Sr., 84 of Lakewood, passed away, Monday, April 27, 2015. He worked as a truck driver and auctioneer for many years. Beloved husband of Ada Petersen for 65 years. Devoted father of George Petersen and his wife Charlotte of Toms River, Debbie Childers of Toms River and her husband Jeffrey of Kenbridge,VA, Jamie Cameron and her husband Chris of Ormond Beach, FL and Eugene Petersen, Jr. of Hollywood, FL; loving grandfather of Christopher Cameron and his wife Michelle, Nicholas Cameron, Jeffrey Childers and his wife Pamela, Katie Stein and her husband Michael, Joshua Petersen, Jamie Petersen and Joy Petersen; four great grandchildren; and dear sister Joan Muzeni of Ocoee, FL. Gene liked to be silly and make people laugh. He loved flea markets and his granddog Mimi. We hope there are a lot of dogs in heaven for him to love. This kind and loving man will be missed by all whose life he touched. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday from 9:00am until the service at 10:30am followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
