Obituary of William A. Bauerband

William A. Bauerband, 88 of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, where he graduated from Jefferson High School. He went on to earn his Bachelors Degree from the University of Delaware '51. William was stationed in the Philippines while serving in the Army during World War II. He worked as a Supervisor of claims division with the Marsh McLennan Co. of New York City for over 25yrs before retiring in 1990. William enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his extended family. He enjoyed volunteer work for many years at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Blanch, his wife Vinnie Bauerband in 2006, brothers Robert (Bob) and Lawrence (Roy) in 2011, and his sister Jeunnie Wheeler. He is survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and his step daughter, Donna Dzury. A memorial service will be held at "The Pines at Whiting" 509 Route 530 Whiting, NJ 08759. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 to 12:00. A service will be held at 12:00 with Military Honors. A time of fellowship and lunch will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to: My Fathers Business, USA, P. O.
