Doreen Nonnemacher, 63 of Toms River, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 26. Doreen worked for the Ocean County Board of Social Services as a Specialist for 27 years before retiring in 2007. Born in Newark, she lived there until moving to Toms River in 1976.
She is survived by:
Two daughters: Laureen Estrella of Toms River
Shereen Pesce and her husband Vincent of Toms River
3 Grandchildren: Briana, Ariana and Justin Ponce
Two Brothers: Ronald Nonnemacher of Little Egg Harbor
Otto Nonnemacher of Seaside Heights
Her loving Companion: Edward Schrieber of Toms River
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday at the funeral home followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen’ memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or the Susan G.
