For my dear friend Linda and in honor and memory of her beloved husband Max. Their love story and their love they have lived out all their years together, is a love that was so beautiful, precious, and shined brightly to their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and everyone who knew them.
Dear sweet Max, thank you for the countless hours, days, and all the times you gladly welcomed me in your home, to talk for hours on end with your wife. I know I would never have made it through that time in my life, if not for all the love, counsel, and patient discipleship, and listening ear your sweet Linda gave to me.
Thanks for never getting tired of me always being around and for patiently being so kind to me, despite how overwhelmingly needy I was. In order to minister to such a one as I was back then, took the strength, love, kindness, great patience, and pure generosity of the both of you. Thanks so much Max. Your sweet Linda, loved me through such rough and confusing times as a new believer when I was around 21-22+ years old.
What a difference there has been to the outcome of my life because you both loved and accepted me just as I was, when there was no one else around me who did back then.
Surely, there's extra precious rewards for you in Heaven for all the hospitality, kindness, and patient love you always showed to me, the very least of His most broken children.
Years, decades have passed since those early times I spent in your home, or on the beach with Linda and your kids Robin, and Danny. (They always were the sweetest kids), but the fruit of your great kindness to me back then, has gone on to yield much fruit for the glory of Jesus throughout my life.
You will be dearly missed sweet brother in Jesus. How I thank God for His grace in causing our paths to cross in this life. Through your kindness, hospitality, and the patient, loving counsel of your wife, I am truly a life that was changed and made far better and steadied on the right course. Until we all rejoice together around God's throne. You are greatly missed. xoxoxo
