My heart is broken. Martha was the big sister I never had. We became friends in 1967 when we both lived on Bergen Ave. How she loved you Martin and your sister Martha. I was in your apt more than my own. When i became pregnant at 18 it was your Mom who I first turned to. She took me to the Dr. and supported me through those most difficult times. I babysat for you and Martha both on Bergen Ave and when you moved to Harrison Ave. Your Mom worked as a social worker at the Div of Social Services at that time. That is the reason I chose that for my life's work. We lost touched for many years, but thankful I found her on FB last year and I was able to give her my thanks for all she had done for me. I am glad she is not suffering anymore, but know what a terrible loss it is for you and your family. I am sure Martha was waiting for her. My prayers for all of you.
