Obituary of Carol Stohl

Carol L. Stohl, age72 of Toms River, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Rose Garden Nursing Center in Toms River. She lived in Union and Hampton before moving to Toms River. Carol graduated in the mid 1960's from the Barbizon School of Modeling in New York City. As secretary to the President of a Pharmaceutical Company, Carol was a professional model for department stores, women's organizations and charitable events on a part time basis. Carol worked at Rose Garden as a receptionist for the past 11 years until being diagnosed with ALS in July and spent her remaining days there among her many friends. Surviving are her daughter, Jennifer Barnable of NJ; 3 grandchildren, Carly, Mackenzie and Gregory Barnable, Jr.; two brothers, Richard Fitzgerald and wife Nancy of NC, and Edwin Fitzgerald and wife Nancy of MA, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 18 from 6 to 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ. A prayer service and time of sharing will begin at 7:30 pm.
