Bud was a wonderful man who loved his family dearly. His wife Barb was a great companion along with his assortment of pups over the years. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. I always enjoyed talking to him on the porches over the years.
His memory will live on in all of our hearts.

Mr. Bud was a very special person. He always welcomed you graciously and had a story or antidote for you. He was a worldly man and a worldly traveler. He was a wise and considerate man. He had a witty sense of humor and the patience of a saint. My daughters Stacey, Tiffany and Tonya, adorned Mr. Bud, for just being Mr. Bud. A down to earth gentlemen who always had time for them and for him being their first “Santa”

Sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. Know that caring thoughts are with you. Know that God has promised to "swallow up death forever"- Isaiah 25:8, and that “he will resurrect our dear loved ones who have passed away”- John 5:28. (jw.org)

Bud will always have a special place in my heart. So many times when I was at the beach alone and/or caring for Shirley, Bud and Barb would invite me for dinner - either at their home or at the many local spots they frequented, always making the effort to introduce me to their many friends. . Everywhere we went Bud was warmly welcomed and always had a story or a witty quip. And what a memory!
Bud and Barb were a fun duo - Bud always on an even keel and Barb the mercurial butterfly. Though I am sure Barb will feel the sadness of such a great loss, I know she will be blessed by the many memories she has of the years they shared. Bud's special charm came from Bud just being himself - and what a wonderful, wise, kind man he was.
