Obituary of John T. Mullen

Terry Mullen, Sr., 60 of Toms River passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at VanDyke Hospice Care Center, Toms River. Terry worked as a roofer for Coffey Brothers Roofing of Howell, NJ. Terry proudly served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He was born in Queens, NY and lived most of his life in Toms River. He was predeceased by his parents John and Ann Mullen and his brother Joseph. Surviving are his wife Joanne; a son, John Mullen, Jr., three daughters: Wendy Mullen, Christi Wilson and her husband Ben, Kelly Ritchie and her husband Harry, and Kathleen Ritchie and her husband Timmy; his brother Michael Mullen and his wife Laura; and 11 loving grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 followed by a funeral service at 8:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Van Dyke Hospice, 99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 in his memory would be appreciated.
