Obituary of Lawrence Devinsky

Lawrence 'Larry' Devinsky, 66, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday February 24, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Larry resided in Toms River most of his life. Larry earned his Bachelor's degree in History and Master's degree in Juvenile Justice. He was known best for always being so generous and just a great guy. Larry married the love of his life, Patricia, in 1997. He was the husband every wife should have. As a graduate of the University of Maryland, he remained a huge Maryland basketball fan. He thoroughly enjoyed attending games and continued to support the team through the years. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Beatrice and Jack. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Patricia Devinsky; son, Russell Groves and his wife Michelle; granddaughters, Abigail and Jazmin; grandsons, Jason and Kyle; brother, Dr. Orrin Devinsky and his wife Deborah; nieces, Janna and Julie; and sister Carole Buchwald. Services will be private.
