Obituary of Jazmin O. Tubese

Jazmin O. Tubese, 77 of Toms River, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Jazmin owned and operated the Empress Travel Agency in Toms River for 20 plus years. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Jazmin lived in Lanoka Harbor before moving to Toms River 19 years ago. Surviving are her beloved husband, Romulo O. Tubese; two sisters, Azucena O. Abueg and husband Martiniano, Cynthia O. Poblador and husband Aniceto, both of the Philippines; brother, Arturo M. Ortega and wife Rose of California; and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews and their children of Manila, California, Florida and New Jersey. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 with a funeral service offered at 12:00. Cremation will be private.
