Obituary of Ruby Johns

Ruby Johns, 85 of Bayville, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 24, 2019. Ruby attended the North Jersey Training School from 1953 to 1972. She then attended the North Princeton Developmental Center until 1997 when Ruby became a resident of a group home in Marlton for four years. In 2001 she was transferred to Crystal Lake Care Center in Bayville where she was very social with residents and staff. She enjoyed music, receiving a blessing from the visiting clergy and especially loved the hand massages she got from the staff that took care of her and treated her like family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5 to 7pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 6:30pm.
