My condolences to Mr. Ricardo Sookdeo and family. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Sookdeo at Excelon. He would call me several times to assist him in the field for complication with the gas prints and locating and verifying a gas line. He was an interesting person to talk with. I advised him to call me anytime he needed assistance whether it was with a phone call, or he would ask me to meet him in the field. May the peace of Jesus Christ and his strength be upon his family. (Hector Osorio, Facility Locator.)

Ricardo was truly a good man that worked hard through his internal battle. He always showed up and did his share - as long as given a chance. Very proud to have been able to get a glimpse of what he offered during his time with us.
His presence will be missed.

I remember the first time I met Ricardo. I was probably around 10 or 11 years old. I was outside playing in the snow and all of the sudden I was being hit with snowballs. I remember turning around and seeing him hiding behind his car and having to make snowballs to throw back at him. That was the beginning of many laughs and amazing memories to come. My family and I were neighbors with Ricardo and spent many summers with Diane, Ronald, and Ricardo in our pool, playing volleyball, and playing rummy. He definitely changed my life and was a great neighbor and friend to have. He is definitely missed! Sending prayers to his family and friends.

My heart breaks to hear Ricardo is gone. He lived next door for many years and it was never a dull moment. We had so much fun together. One of the funniest things he ever did was give my sister a can of soup when she went to his house trick or treating. Then he showed up in his mother’s dress.
He would play and tease all the kids just like a big brother. I watched as he doted on and loved his niece Diane and Katie and nephew Connor. He loved all of his family so much.
Ricardo was an amazing person who I could count on when I needed him. Him and his family were a part of our family for so long and he will be truly missed.

I had the pleasure of training Ricardo at Exelon for his position as locator. Never a dull moment with him in my truck. He always told me "No Boo-berry slurpee for you". I will truly miss him.

Ricardo was always such a witty and funny guy whenever we had the pleasure of being in his presence. His love for his family, especially his grandson Mason was so visible. He will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Ricardo. Love, The Kincaid Family.

Ricardo and my husband were work buddies way back in 2000 . My husband introduced Ricardo to my sister and I still remember the first date they had he told me she was the one and eventually he became my brother in law . He was someone who knew how to live life to the fullest. I have so many memories of the fun times we shared, family events, our casino outings, game and karaoke nights when he was getting to know my sister . Over 20 years of memories , life events , good times and times we wanted to smack each other we will always cherish the time we had with him I know he is no longer suffering and in a much better place probably having a drink and making people laugh with his sometimes horrible jokes ❤️ RIP we love you
