Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. Your family devoted the last years of Al's life to providing a safe haven for him in your home. Although he may not have expressed his gratitude to you, you continued to care for him with love and compassion. I'll always have good memories of visiting your dad down in his "den" with his beer! What a lucky man to have such a supportive family around him in his time of need. I have known Al all of my life. I know that it sucks to lose a parent, too. But, Birgit, we have each other to remember all of the good times...and there were plenty! Smiles to you, John and the kids...they'll always be the kids. :) He is in a great place and in fantastic company! Love u!
Birgitta, So Sorry to hear about your father. I will never forget how kind both of your parents were to me when I would come to your house in conn.
