All of my love and prayers for entire Rodgers family. Jinx all of us will always remember the great cakes you made for the family for there birthdays and singing the Polish birthday song. So many great memories at the BBQ's at Kenny & Patty's house. Your sense of humor and wonderful smile was always great to be around. We will all look after Joe, the love of your life, keep him smiling everyday. Until we meet again one day soon We love you!!! Kathleen Lynch

I just heard of Jinx’s passing, My heart is heavy. I truly loved her, she was a great friend who always made me laugh, and feel love. Jinx took such pride in her family and showed it every minute of every day. A memory comes to mind. We went crabbing with her Tata and he caught an eel, he was so happy calling her name so she could see, until it grabbed hold of his finger! Jinx to the rescue! What a commotion! There was no way he was letting that eel go! How proud he was of his catch. We laughed about that so often. Kenny do you remember that? Oh and lets not forget how she could Polka! We haven’t seen each other since my daughter was born, but never has she left my heart. What an amazing person what an amazing life. I feel privileged to have known her. I know we will miss her deeply. With warm thoughts and prayers Please accept our condolences Cindy, Frank, Suzanne and Frankie Picciurro (Pinkowski)

Dad The days ahead will be hard, the pain at times will grip you deep. We are all here for, if you need to talk or just want someone to listen I am a phone call away. Mom will be missed by us all, she was as you say the glue to our family, now it's your turn. If it helps you the thing that kept me going after Beth passed was, although it was her time, she would have chose to stay, that and Rob kept me going. Love you Bob

6th Lane entrance to Midway Beach will be missing one if its most loved beach sitters. Joe walked the path first and set up the chairs. I slowly walked with Jinx along the mats, laughing and chatting as we maneuvered the famous walker "that never closed right". Alex chatted with Joe until we arrived. Hours of stories about past adventures, great restaurants, and of course hot dogs! Joe, the life you shared with this wonderful woman must fill your heart with the greatest of memories. There will always be a spot on our back deck whenever you like, and a place at the top of the beach where we can all share the memories together. We love you! Somehow God gives us the strength. Thank you, Rodgers family, for sharing Jinx with us. God bless you all. Ruth and Alex Forfar

Jinx was a remarkable woman! We recently became friends at St. Justin’s church. Every Sunday Joe& Jinx sat behind us. We had so much in common & enjoyed our conversations about our Polish heritage that she was so proud of . She even shared her special recipes! She always spoke of her wonderful family that she loved dearly. We will miss her gentle voice, glowing smile & soft warm touch! God has another beautiful angel with Him. Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to Joe & his family.
